Begonia gracilicyma

With its slightly iridescent and charmingly dotted leaves, this graceful begonia lives up to its name. It is rarely found on the market and is therefore a sought-after rarity. Due to its delicate growth and its need for high humidity, it is well suited for keeping in a terrarium or a display case.

Ben's tips on plant care:

- Habitat/Light Requirements: Partial shade to bright, without direct sunlight.
- Substrate: green plant soil, mineral, ensure good drainage
- Temperature: optimal at 24-30° C
- Watering: water as soon as the upper substrate layers begin to dry, but avoid waterlogging at all costs, ideally water with lukewarm, low-calcium rainwater
- Humidity: needs high humidity, place in terrarium or use humidifier
- Nutrient addition: in the growth phase every 4 weeks with organ. Fertilize with organic liquid fertilizer
- Repot, only if the plant is strongly rooted (approx. 1x per year). Be careful not to damage the roots.
