Dendrobium unicum
Description
An orchid species that originates in Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar and Laos. It has large, orange flowers and is a real eye-catcher in a terrarium or in an orchid display case. This species can also be cultivated as a houseplant because it is not very demanding. It has a stem that sheds its leaves in winter and grows best epiphytically. Leaves sprout again in spring and this beautiful orchid blooms in the summer months. You will receive a tied-up, flowering plant or a plant in a pot. In a terrarium, a slightly drier location is ideal. It likes it warm and can also tolerate high humidity.
