Description
This pretty ficus got its nickname Ginseng because its stump is vaguely reminiscent of a ginseng root. Due to its slow growth, it is ideal for cultivation as a bonsai and is suitable for bottle gardens or terrariums.

Ben's tips on plant care:
- Location/light requirements: bright, indirect sunlight
- Substrate: good green plant soil with a high coconut fiber content
- Temperature: optimal at 18-22° C (day), 15° C (night)
- Watering: water moderately approx. once a week as soon as the upper substrate layers are dry, less frequently in winter, avoid waterlogging at all costs
- Humidity: requires humidity, spray regularly with low-lime water (leaves should be able to dry out afterwards!)
- Addition of nutrients: in spring/summer, fertilize moderately every 6-8 weeks with diluted organ. Fertilize with liquid fertilizer
- Repot in spring when the plant is sufficiently rooted.
- Avoid draughts at all costs.
