Description
Hoya merrillii is a decorative plant both because of its elongated leaves with filigree leaf veins, which can turn reddish in bright locations, and because of its cream-colored and delicately fragrant flowers. It can either be cultivated in a hanging basket or allowed to climb up climbing aids.

Ben's tips on plant care:
- Habitat/Light requirements: bright, indirect sunlight.
- Substrate: Ben's Hoya Soil special soil
- Temperature: optimal at 21-26° C (day), 16-18° C (night)
- Watering: water moderately every 7-10 days, substrate may dry out slightly, avoid waterlogging at all costs
- Humidity: needs moderately high humidity, use humidifier or spray regularly, but then let leaves dry well.
- Nutrient addition: in spring/summer every 2 weeks with diluted organ. Fertilize moderately in spring/summer, every 4-6 weeks in winter.
- Repot approximately every 2 years when the plant is suitably rooted.
- Keeping it rather dry towards the end of winter will encourage flower production.
