Description
The long, tongue-shaped leaves of this fern are velvety hairy when young, but become smoother as they mature and then show off their striking veins to their best advantage. In the wild, it grows as an epiphyte and geophyte on trees and rocks and is therefore also ideal for keeping in a terrarium in a mounted form.
The product photos show examples of the plant. You will receive a specimen that resembles the product photos in terms of size, shape and coloring.

Ben's tips on plant care:
- Location/light requirements: Partly shaded to bright, without direct sunlight
- Substrate: mounted on Xaxim
- Temperature: optimal at 25-30° C
- Watering: when tied up, spray approx. once a week (avoid leaves or allow to dry well!) with lukewarm, low-lime water. Avoid waterlogging at all costs. Water less in winter.
- Humidity: requires high humidity, use a humidifier or place it in the terrarium
- Addition of nutrients: fertilize moderately every 2-3 weeks in spring/summer with diluted liquid fertilizer, less frequently in winter
- Avoid draughts.
- If the plant is not tied up, repot about every 2-3 years when the soil is deep rooted.
