Description
This pretty Trichosalpinx impresses above all with its strong yellow, 1 cm large flowers, which appear in summer and winter with good care. As it grows in the wild as an epiphyte at very different altitudes, it also tolerates a certain range of cool to warm temperatures in the terrarium. It generally feels most at home in the mounted form.
The product photos show examples of the plant. You will receive a specimen that corresponds to the product photos in terms of size, shape and coloring.

Ben's tips on plant care:
- Location/light requirements: semi-shaded to shaded
- Substrate: tied to Xaxim or in well-drained orchid substrate with good drainage
- Temperature: optimal at 19-24° C (day), 14-18° C (night)
- Watering: Spray regularly when mounted, but allow leaves to dry out well. Otherwise only water moderately when the substrate is thoroughly dry. Only use lukewarm water with a low lime content. Avoid waterlogging at all costs.
- Humidity: requires high humidity, use a humidifier or place in the terrarium
- Addition of nutrients: in the winter months, fertilize only very moderately every 4 weeks with diluted orchid fertilizer.
- Ensure even watering, as the plant does not tolerate waterlogging or complete drying out
