Description
This charming miniature orchid is somewhat more demanding in care, but rewards with beautiful, yellow-orange glowing flowers when cultivated properly. In the wild it grows as an epiphyte on trees and therefore prefers to be kept mounted in a terrarium.

Ben's tips on plant care:
- Habitat/light requirements: bright to full sun, supplement light requirements with HID lamps if necessary.
- Substrate: tied up on Xaxim or in well-drained orchid substrate with good drainage
- Temperature: optimal at 24-29° C (day), 10-15° C (night)
- Watering: Spray daily when attached, but allow plant to dry well. Otherwise, water 1-2 a week when the upper substrate layers begin to dry. Use only lukewarm water with low lime content. Water less in winter.
- Humidity: needs high humidity, use humidifier or place in terrarium.
- Nutrient addition: fertilize moderately every 2 weeks with diluted orchid fertilizer only during the growing season.
- Ensure good ventilation of the terrarium to avoid fungal infestation.
